An industry conference was held at the KOMMASH plant
🚛 An industry conference dedicated to the development of domestic equipment for the water and utilities sector was held at the KOMMASH plant. Representatives of companies from Moscow, the Moscow Region, and Nizhny Novgorod took part in the event. The meeting was held in an open and practical atmosphere and included three key sections.
🤝 Business Session.
Participants were informed about the development of the water utility sector, the plant’s new products, and changes related to the import substitution program. Discussions focused on how equipment requirements are evolving and which solutions are currently in demand on the market.
🚸Production Facility Tour.
Guests visited the plant’s key workshops, familiarized themselves with production capacities, and observed the equipment assembly stages. The tour was conducted by the plant’s Executive Director, Mikhail Vladimirovich Dontsov. During the visit, participants discussed machine testing and trial procedures, as well as real operational case studies.
Among the participants were companies already operating KOMMASH equipment, including the new 560A model. Representatives shared practical experience, highlighting the simplicity and convenience of operation, as well as built-in solutions designed to protect against operator errors.
Separate attention was given to pumping equipment. Participants emphasized the reliability of KOMMASH’s in-house manufactured pumps and their suitability for operational requirements. Compared to imported alternatives, an important difference was noted: failures of foreign components often result in supply difficulties and lengthy equipment downtime. With KOMMASH equipment, such issues are resolved significantly faster thanks to spare parts availability and prompt service support.
Participants also supported the plant’s plans to develop higher-capacity pumps. Representatives of Moscow-based companies noted that KOMMASH equipment, particularly the 560A model, is already widely used in the city and has proven its effectiveness in operation.
📈 Round Table with Design Engineers.
The final part of the event featured an open dialogue with the plant’s engineering team. Participants discussed specific assemblies and technical solutions in detail, as well as opportunities for modifying and adapting serial models to meet particular operational tasks.
The conference became a platform for direct exchange of experience between the manufacturer and operating service companies. This format makes it possible not only to present solutions, but also to jointly develop requirements for equipment intended for real-world operating conditions.
