The KAMAZ-53251 K5 with the IKran RS1956 ACE Crane-Manipulator Unit Has Been Launched on the Market

A new medium-duty K5 generation truck model — the KAMAZ-53251 equipped with an IKran loader crane — has been introduced to the market. The project was implemented by the “Construction Lifting Machines” (SPM) plant, an official partner of IKran and PJSC KAMAZ.

Serial production of the KAMAZ-53251 chassis began in 2025. The vehicle, featuring a 4x2 wheel configuration and a gross vehicle weight of 19 tons, is designed for urban applications, including municipal services, retail, and last-mile logistics. Thanks to the optimal balance of maneuverability, payload capacity, and efficiency, the model establishes a new benchmark for the medium-duty truck segment.

Special attention has been paid to operator comfort and work efficiency. The new-generation K5 cab is equipped with a four-point suspension system, a low transmission tunnel, and a full-size sleeper berth, making the truck suitable for intensive operation. Standard equipment includes a climate control system, cruise control, and a modern digital dashboard.

A key component of the configuration is the IKran RS1956 ACE loader crane — a model localized in Russia based on DongYang (DY) technologies. The crane features a lifting moment of 19 tm, lifting capacity of up to 8 tons, and a boom reach of up to 19 meters, ensuring versatility in confined urban working conditions.

The use of the IKran loader crane significantly improves vehicle operating efficiency by combining transportation and loading/unloading functions without the need for additional machinery. This is especially relevant for construction, municipal, and service companies.

The production and supply of IKran loader cranes are supported by a full-service cycle, including installation, pre-delivery preparation, warranty, and post-warranty maintenance through a network of authorized partners. Service infrastructure and the supply of genuine spare parts are provided throughout Russia within a dealer partnership model, including cooperation with the SPM plant.

The launch of the KAMAZ-53251 equipped with the IKran loader crane confirms the trend toward the development of localized solutions for the Russian market, where reliability, service availability, and adaptation of equipment to real operating conditions are becoming the key factors.
